One corner of Sanden’s studio serves as an office and computer area, with an Apple computer, a scanner, and a large format inkjet printer. Although he prefers to paint from life, the artist has found digital photography to be indispensable, especially with clients who have busy schedules. The small portrait in the corner is by Sanden’s most influential teacher, Samuel Edmund Oppenheim.
